How does 3D printing work?

3D printing can benefit students by providing them with the tools they need to understand the nature of computers and the future of digital manufacturing. By using a 3D printer, students will gain a better understanding of how computers think and how coordinates are processed in a digital landscape. If you’re not already familiar with 3D printing, check out this video made by the leading 3D printer company Polar 3D, to familiarize yourself with the basics.

If you have an engineering, architecture, or design program could benefit from 3D printers, check out our Polar 3D printing page here. Feel free to give us a chat if you have any questions or are in need of a quote for your school!
