When Pendergast school district integrated iPads into their elementary school curriculum, some phenomenal changes were observed. Not only were student engagement levels and text scores increased, but discipline issues and office referrals were cut in half. This was all possible thanks to Apple’s ConnectED grant that the school was awarded in 2016. One hundred fourteen schools in the nation and 13 in Arizona received Apple ConnectED grants to support their educational goals with technology this year.
